Excellent introduction to Florence This was our first time visiting Europe and Florence. We scheduled the tour for the first evening we arrived. It was so helpful and helped us plan the rest of our visit because Aida told us what to skip and what were must sees. Aida is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area and the small group size meant we could all participate. Highly recommend. Learnt a ton!

Our favorite thing we did in Florence This tour is beyond fantastic if what you want is a deep-dive crash course into the history of Florence and the Renaissance. Aida runs an intricate and fascinating tour around the city where she truly brings history to life. We came in knowing almost nothing and left with information that we continued to reference for the rest of our trip around Italy. It was so much fun! Could not recommend this tour highly enough.

Filippo Brunelleschi fan club My friends and I came into this tour blind with our rudimentary knowledge of art history and European history from high school, but our wonderful and knowledgeable guide, AIDA, was so patient and receptive with our questions. She was such a fantastic tour guide who did a phenomenal job of explaining Florentine history at a relaxed pace. I definitely recommend this tour for curious beginners and inquisitive learners. Aida was the best tour guide I’ve ever had — this tour is a MUST DO! We were in Florence and Rome for our honeymoon and this was one of the absolute highlights! We did the free walking tour of Florence and this is a must-do for anyone traveling to Florence. Aida was truly the best tour guide I’ve ever had. Brilliant tour with Aida - fascinating, informative and humorous! This tour was truly wonderful! You can find out so much about Florence and its history, and Aida does it in such a humorous and interesting manner that it really flies by, and in absolutely excellent English.
The group size is kept down (I think there were 9 or 10 of us), which makes it much easier to have excellent interaction and ask questions. Aida also has all kinds of useful tips for the best places to visit in Florence, and how to keep your visit e.g. to the Uffizi manageable and not too long, and still see the highlights there.
In some locations there is a chance to sit down while Aida is explaining, so good opportunities to rest your legs. Also we had a short break to grab a delicious ice cream :)
I did the tour on my first evening in Florence so it set me up perfectly for my time there.

Smashing and charming We did two tours with Aida in one day. Actually, we booked a morning tour, following which we immediately decided to book an evening tour. She is extremely knowledgeable about anything that has to do with the history and art of Florence and the whole of Italy. You simply ask the question- and the answer is there, she knows it all. The tours are done in excellent English, with proper stops for rest and refreshments. I can't recommend her highly enough for anyone who wants to dive a bit deeper into the history of this magical city. Thank you, Aida!

Great tour — highly recommend! Aida was really great, perfectly blending humor with the right level of history so it wasn’t overwhelming, yet still very informative. Truly amazing experience We had the chance to join not just one, but two tours in the same day, and we enjoyed every moment. Aida, our guide, was extremely friendly and managed to turn the whole experience into something interactive and engaging.
